Her work focuses on centering the voices of students with disabilities and she is the co-developer of the One Out of Five: Disability History and Pride project. In this presentation we'll introduce the One Out of Five: Disability History and Pride Project, reflect on how disabilities are talked about (or not talked about) in schools, and discuss how we can support accessible and inclusive classroom communities. Complimentary student care (under 21) is available for meeting attendees from LWSD and provided by trained paraprofessionals who work in LWSD schools.
